The County is planning to begin rock base widening on the J.A. Gifford Causeway in October 2019. County Council awarded the tender to Drain Brothers Excavating and will beginning work in October/November 2019. The project involves the placement of rock on the south side of the Causeway.
The County will be providing advance notice of our exact start date closer to that time.

Peterborough Distribution IncThere will be a power outage affecting all residents of the Village of Lakefield on Sunday, September 29, 2019 from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon .  This outage is required for Hydro One to safely complete pole replacements in the surrounding area.
