That the correspondence received from the Recycling Council of Ontario regarding Waste Reduction Week be received for information; and that the week of October 20 - 26, 2014 be proclaimed Waste Reduction Week in the Township of Selwyn.

2.     CUPE - Child Care Worker & Early Childhood Educator Appreciation Day - October 29, 2014

That the correspondence received from CUPE regarding Child Care Worker & Early Childhood Educator Appreciation Day be received for information; and that October 29, 2014 be declared Child Care Worker & Early Childhood Educator Appreciation Day in the Township of Selwyn.

3.     Royal Canadian Legion Ontario Provincial Command - Legion Week

That the correspondence received from the Royal Canadian Legion Ontario Provincial Command regarding Legion Week be received for information; and that September 21-27, 2014 be declared Legion Week in the Township of Selwyn.

4. Association of Stoney Lake Cottagers - Proposed Development of the Fraser Property on Stoney Lake

That the correspondence received from the Association of Stoney Lake Cottages regarding the proposed development of the Fraser Property on Stoney Lake be received for information; and that the Association be advised that although the Township of Selwyn is not the approval authority related to these planning matters, Council members appreciate being made aware of the Association's concerns; and further that the Association be encouraged to avail themselves to all public planning process being coordinated by the Township of North Kawartha and the County of Peterborough.

5. Noreen & Gary Lister - Road Extension of Andrew Avenue

That the correspondence from Noreen and Garry Lister of Patricia Crescent regarding the unopened section of Andrew Avenue be received for information; and that correspondence be sent to the Listers acknowledging the concerns and noting that this section of unopened road allowance is identified in the Township's Trails Master Plan as an area for trail development to recognize its current informal use; and that  prior to formal development plans, that the Manager of Public Works review the area for possible interim solutions.
