Chemung Senior Citizen's Family

50+ Chemung Senior Citizen's Family - All welcome...   The purpose of our organization is to have fun, to bring seniors together, friendship, learning new things, including guest speakers, dining out, trips and outings.  Meetings at the Bridgenorth United Church. The 1st Tuesday of each month meet at noon at the church basement of Bridgenorth United Church for a pot luck lunch. After the meal there is a brief meeting followed by entertainment.  The 2nd Tuesday at 12 noon is "Fun & Games". Sandwiches and tea/coffee will be served at noon.   The 3rd Tuesday meet at noon for lunch at a local restaurant The 4th Tuesday get together for an outing in the community
The group also meets informally on Monday mornings at 10 am at McDonalds on Chemong Road to have coffee and chart. For more information call Marion at 705-749-9093.

Ennismore Seniors

Activities are located at the Ennismore Fire Hall, 801 Tara Road and include: Exercise, needlework, pool, carvings, folkart, darts, line dancing and cards. Lunches are held at the club room on Tara Road the second Wednesday of each month. For more information contact Doug Grice at 705-292-0222.

Lakefield Golden Years Club

The Golden Years are located in their own hall at 275 Queen Street. The general meeting and pot luck is held 3rd Tuesday of each month (except July & August).  Monday to Friday they have a variety of daily activities including; Crafted Cards, Bridge, Wood Carving, Shuffleboard, Euchre, Bridge, Scrabble, Book Club and Cribbage. United Senior Citizens of Ontario Zone 42

For all seniors organizations in our Township and the Peterborough area. Meetings are on the 3rd Monday of March, June, September, and November at 10:00 am. Updates from the United Senior Citizens of Ontario, sharing ideas, guest speakers, and refreshments. For more information contact Secretary Roberta Thompson at 705-748-0421.

VON Adult Day Program

Offers a pleasant social experience in a safe and stimulating environment for older adults who live in the community and are in need of support to remain at home. Provides a regular day of respite for family caregivers.

Program runs Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Located at 135 Queen St., Lakefield Fee: $19.00 per day (subsidy available)

Lakefield Jolly Seniors

A place seniors can come and enjoy themselves. Yes, they have potlucks, speakers and entertainment. The Lakefield Jolly Seniors meets every second Wednesday of the month at 12:30 pm (except July and August) in the upstairs hall at the Lakefield Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 77.  The annual fee is $5, and there is no user fee. A potluck lunch is held at 1:00 pm followed by a meeting at 2:00 pm.
