Red Cross Swimming Instruction - Jones Beach Bridgenorth

Bridgenorth Red Cross Swimming instruction programs are available at Jones Beach in Bridgenorth. Registration begins May 31st from 10:00 am till 12 noon at the Lions Park in Bridgenorth.

Program Session are:

  • June 22 to July 3
  • July 6 to July 17
  • July 20 to July 31

Cost per session: one child - $25.00, two children - $40.00, and three or more children - $55.00.

YMCA Lakefield Summer Day Camp
Discovery Camp Ages 4 to 10 years - Camp runs weekly beginning June 29 through to September 4, 2015.

Campers will enjoy swimming at Lakefield Beach, walking through the trails, playing baseball on the diamond, canoeing, tie dye, crafts, games, nature activities, relay races and scavenger hunts. Discovery Camp is also filled with exciting excursions and special guests. Campers will build lasting friendships and memories that will have you coming back year after year!

Campers are dropped off and picked up at the Pavilion located at the Lakefield beach! Camp hours are from 8am to 5pm. Extended camp hours a half hour before and a half hour after are available for $20 per week. Registration can be done at the Peterborough YMCA - 123 Aylmer Street, Peterborough.

Bridgenorth Minor Sports

The Bridgenorth Sports Program has increased to 400 participants in the past few years. Volunteer help is urgently needed to continue this program, please feel free to offer assistance.

The Bridgenorth Minor Sports Program includes T-Ball, Softball, and Soccer for children 4 to 12 years of age. The sports are played on Saturdays at the Chemung Lake District Lions Park in Bridgenorth.

T-Ball and Softball run for 8 weeks in May and June. Soccer runs for 8 weeks in July and August.

Ennismore Optimist Youth Sports

The Ennismore Optimist Club sponsors several youth programs during the Spring and Summer. Online registration opens Feb 9, 2015 or register at the Optimist Hall (below the Ennismore Lobrary) from 9am - 12noon on Feb 28th, Mar 7th and April 4th.
