The Township of Selwyn has a Secondary Plan in place for approximately 370 acres in the municipality to support opportunities for urban serviced residential and limited commercial development in the Lakefield South area. 

Lakefield South lands can be found outside of the downtown core of the Village of Lakefield.

A number of reports are currently available to developers and a Secondary Plan/Official Plan Amendment has been prepared for these lands.

This allows the "fast-tracking" of development applications to facilitate plans for subdivision and zoning approvals in the future.

These lands are ready and waiting for development!
