By Road

A network of well-maintained municipal and county roads provide quick and convenient access to Highway 7, 28 and 115. The Township of Selwyn is well situated with Peterborough at our doorstep, Toronto at a 1-hour distance, and Ottawa at a 3-hour distance.

By Bus

The Township of Selwyn is serviced by the Bus Terminal located in downtown Peterborough at 220 Simcoe Street. This terminal services Greyhound, Coach Canada and Go Transit.

By Air

The Peterborough Municipal Airport
Owned by the City of Peterborough, the airport provides business and travel charter services with non-scheduled domestic and trans-border flights to meet your schedule. 

By Water

A Boat on the Trent Severn Waterway

Trent Severn Waterway
Designated as a Canadian Heritage River System. It is serviced by a system of locks connecting Lake Ontario north towards Georgian Bay. The Trent Severn Waterway passes through our Township, with locks at Young's Point and Lakefield.

Walking and cycling trail networks are located in Lakefield, Bridgenorth and Ennismore. The Lakefield Trail connects to the Trans-Canada Trail network.
