This emergency declaration is intended to send a strong message to our community about the need to follow all health and safety precautions as directed by the Federal and Provincial Governments and Peterborough Public Health. The action we take today is critical to slow the spread of COVID-19," said Mayor Andy Mitchell. "It is up to each and every one of us to take responsibility and demonstrate our commitment to public health directions. The Township of Selwyn has always been a community that comes together during tough times and now, more than ever, it is important for us to do our part and keep each other safe.”
