Ennismore Gears Up for a Weekend of Family Fun and Tradition at the 2025 Shamrock Festival!
Get ready! The beloved Ennismore Shamrock Festival returns this Saturday, July 19 and Sunday, July 20, bringing a full weekend of entertainment, community spirit, and family-friendly activities to the Robert E. Young Recreation Complex.
Now in its 50+ year tradition, the Ennismore Shamrock Festival continues to be a highlight of the summer season, offering something for everyone—from games and food to thrilling truck pulls and local crafts.
Saturday, July 19 – Family Fun Day (10:00 AM – 2:00 PM)
Admission is free to this fun-filled community celebration, featuring:
- Delicious BBQ fare: peameal bacon on a bun, burgers, hot dogs & cold drinks
- Kids’ attractions: bouncy castles, obstacle courses & petting zoo
- Tasty treats: Beavertails, Snowie sno-cones, fresh lemonade
- Youth sports tournaments: soccer and rookie ball hosted by the Ennismore Optimist Club
- Garage sale continues at the Ennismore Curling Club
Sunday, July 20 – Craft Show & Truck and Tractor Pull
- Craft Show at the Ennismore Community Centre (11:00 AM – 4:00 PM, $2 admission)
- Truck and Tractor Pull – always a crowd favourite!
- Gates open: 10:30 AM
- Pull begins: 12 Noon
- Admission: $10 per person (children 12 and under free, cash only)
- Great food and drinks available (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic), including Jesse’s Tap & Grill, Beavertails and more.
