Free Shuttle Service to Local Events!

The Link rural transit service, is making it easier than ever to attend the Lakefield Jazz, Art & Craft Festival, the Lakefield Literary Festival, and the Curve Lake Pow Wow with free shuttle services.

For all three events, keep an eye out for the yellow Hamilton Bus Line school bus featuring The Link logo.

This initiative provides a stress-free and eco-friendly way to enjoy Selwyn Township’s vibrant line-up of festivals and events. So mark your calendars, hop on board, and let The Link take you there!

From 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, The Link bus will run approximately every 15 minutes, stopping at designated Link bus stops throughout the Village of Lakefield. Look for the festival signs at these stops to enjoy a free ride to and from this popular celebration of music, art, and craftsmanship.

The following Saturday, July 19, The Link will extend its free service to attendees of the Lakefield Literary Festival. The shuttle will circulate between Trent University and event locations Cenotaph Park and Lakefield College School, providing convenient transportation from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

Celebrate the rich cultural heritage of the Curve Lake Pow Wow with free shuttle service on both Saturday and Sunday, September 20 and 21. The Link bus will operate from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, making stops at Trent University, the Curve Lake Pow Wow Grounds, and designated Link stops in between.
