Get ready for one of the most anticipated summer events in the region, the 2026 Ennismore Shamrock Festival in beautiful Ennismore, part of Selwyn Township. This long-running community festival returns in July 2026 with one exciting day of family-friendly entertainment, children’s activities, and signature festival competitions.
Originally launched in 1967 as part of Canada’s Centennial celebrations, the Ennismore Shamrock Festival has grown into one of the premier summer festivals in the Peterborough region. Each year, residents and visitors gather at the Robert E. Young Recreation Complex to celebrate community spirit, local heritage, and summertime fun.

Due to the forecasted weather, Family Fun Day has been rescheduled to Sunday, July 19. We appreciate everyone’s understanding as we prioritize the safety of our volunteers, vendors, staff and festival-goers.

Friday, July 17, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM
- Garage and Bake Sale, hosted by the Ennismore Curling Club
Saturday, July 18, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM
- Garage and Bake Sale, hosted by the Ennismore Curling Club
Sunday, July 19, 2026 beginning at 10:00 AM
- Family Fun Day - FREE Admission
- BBQ hosted by the Shamrock Festival Committee, including peameal bacon on a bun, burgers, hot dogs, and drinks
- Bouncy castles, inflatable games and obstacle course
- Snowie Sno Cones and lemonade
- Beavertails
- Ennismore Optimist Club Youth Soccer and Rookie Ball Tournaments
- Craft Show (beginning at 11:00 AM)
- Admission: $2.00
- Truck and Tractor Pull (beginning at 12 Noon)
- Admission: $10.00 per person (Children 12 and under are free)
- CASH ONLY
- Licensed event with food vendors, including Jesse's Tap & Grill
