The Ennismore Shamrock Festival is a beloved summer tradition held each July in the heart of beautiful Ennismore. This long-running community celebration brings together residents and visitors for a weekend of family-friendly entertainment, children's activities, local vendors, and signature festival events that have become annual favourites.
Originally launched in 1967 as part of Canada’s Centennial celebrations, the Ennismore Shamrock Festival has grown into one of the premier summer festivals in the Peterborough region. Each year, residents and visitors gather at the Robert E. Young Recreation Complex to celebrate community spirit, local heritage, and summertime fun.

From the lively Family Fun Day to the high-energy Truck & Tractor Pull and community craft show, this year’s festival brought hundreds of people together to celebrate the spirit, and hospitality that Ennismore is known for.
We would like to thank everyone for their understanding, patience, and flexibility as we made the difficult decision to reschedule Family Fun Day to Sunday due to the weather. Your support and cooperation helped ensure a safe and enjoyable event for everyone, and we truly appreciate it.
