Holiday Hours & Information

The Municipal Office (1310 Centre Line) will be CLOSED at 12:00PM on Wednesday, December 24th, 2025 and will return to regular operating hours on Friday, January 2nd, 2026 at 8:30 AM. Building inspections will not be available from December 24th to January 1st.

The Smith Landfill (1480 County Road 18) with be CLOSED on Christmas Day, Boxing Day & New Years Day.

Please note the following schedule changes:

Garbage/Green Waste:

  • Thursday, December 25th collection moves to Friday, December 26th.
  • Friday, December 26th collection moves to Saturday, December 27th (including green waste).
  • Thursday, January 1st collection moves to Friday, January 2nd.
  • Friday, January 2nd collection moves to Saturday, January 3rd (including green waste).

Recycling: 

  • Thursday, December 25th collection is CANCELLED. Please hold recycling until Saturday, December 27th.
  • Thursday, January 1st collection is CANCELLED. Please hold recycling until Saturday, January 3rd.

All other routes will remain the same.
