  • Senior skating will re-commence the week of February 7th, 2022. (Note: COVID-19 guidelines will be followed. Masks, social distancing, contact tracing and proof of double vaccination will be required.)
    • Ennismore Community Centre: Every Monday from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Free-of-charge, thanks to our sponsor The Gardens of Peterborough.
    • Lakefield-Smith Community Centre: Every Tuesday and Friday from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Free-of-charge, thanks to our sponsor Regency Retirement of Lakefield.
Parent & Tot Skating
  • Parent & Tot Skating will commence the week of February 28th, 2022. (Note: COVID-19 guidelines will be followed. Masks, social distancing, contact tracing and proof of double vaccination will be required.)
    • Ennismore Community Centre: Every Monday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Free-of-charge.
    • Lakefield-Smith Community Centre: Every Tuesday from 11:00 AM to 12 Noon. Free-of-charge.

Arenas

Lakefield-Smith Community Centre

Location: 20 Concession Street, Lakefield

Home to the Lakefield Chiefs Jr. C hockey team, the Lakefield-Smith Community Centre features one sheet of ice in the winter. In the summer, the Centre is mainly used for summer day camps, but it also used for trade shows and special events.

The Niels Pind Room, with a capacity of 120, can be rented with a bar option available.

General Public Skating - CANCELLED

Due to the number of COVID-19 restrictions in place, weekend public skating in Lakefield and Ennismore will not be scheduled for the foreseeable future.

Public skating dates generally run from October to March, however dates vary based on holidays and tournaments.

Ennismore Community Centre

Location: 553 Ennis Road, Ennismore 

Located at Robert E. Young Recreation Complex, this facility is home to one sheet of ice in the winter. In the summer, the Centre is mainly used for summer day camps, but it also used for trade shows and special events.

The Ennismore Auditorium, with a capacity of 200, can be rented with a bar option available.

Ennismore Curling Club

Location: 551 Ennis Road, Ennismore

The Ennismore Curling Club is fully accessible and welcomes groups for celebrations that include wedding, anniversaries, birthdays, etc. There is an upstairs banquet room that is suitable for 80 people and a downstairs space for larger groups. For rates and other information, contact the curling club.

Lakefield Curling Club

Location: 12 Nicholls Street, Lakefield

Lobby rentals year round, contact the Lakefield Curling Club for more information about rentals.
