The Asset Management Plan (AMP) focuses on the current state of the municipality’s asset portfolio and its approach to managing and funding individual service areas or asset groups. The AMP is a living document that will be updated regularly as additional assets and financial data become available. This will allow the Township to re-evaluate the state of infrastructure and identify how the organization’s asset management and financial strategies are progressing.

The intent is to maximize benefits, reduce risks and provide satisfactory levels of service to the community in a sustainable manner – providing an optimum balance. Good asset management practices are fundamental to achieving sustainable communities.
Development Charges Annual Reporting
Following the enactment of Bill 60, the Fighting Delays, Building Faster Act, 2025, municipalities are now required to prepare and present an annual Development Charges Treasurer’s Statement to Council by June 30 and submit the statement to the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing by July 15 each year.
This annual reporting helps ensure transparency and accountability in how development charge revenues are managed and used to support growth-related infrastructure within the municipality.
