Holiday Hours & Information

The Municipal Office (1310 Centre Line) will be CLOSED at 12:00PM on Wednesday, December 24th, 2025 and will return to regular operating hours on Friday, January 2nd, 2026 at 8:30 AM. Building inspections will not be available from December 24th to January 1st.

The Smith Landfill (1480 County Road 18) with be CLOSED on Christmas Day, Boxing Day & New Years Day.

The River Den

13 Water Street North, Lakefield

Capacity: up to 40 people

Located next to Isabel Morris Park in Lakefield, this community space reopened in 2022 as a fully renovated and accessible rental hall. The proximity to park space, the skateboard park and a view of the Otonabee River makes this perfect for your small events and meetings.
