Board and Committee Opportunities

The Library Board is seeking applications to fill one (1) vacancy.

The Library Board is a governing body mandated by the Public Library Act. The Board works closely with staff to provide library services, manage budgets, and develop strategic goals.

The Board is comprised of one Council representative and the remainder being representatives from the community at large. The Committee shall consist of a minimum of five members to a maximum of nine members. Community members may serve up to a maximum of 3 terms on the Board.  

Members generally meet once per month (exception July/August).
