Emergency Alert

Environment Canada has issued an extreme heat warning due to the extremely high tempatures expected over the next few days.

Please take precautions to stay safe:

• Stay hydrated – drink plenty of water
• Avoid outdoor activities during peak heat (11:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
• Never leave people or pets in parked vehicles
• Wear loose, light clothing and sunscreen
• Check on vulnerable friends, family, and neighbours

Looking for a way to beat the heat? Cool off with a swim at one of Selwyn Township's public beaches, or visit any branch of Selwyn Public Library during regular operating hours for a comfortable place to escape the heat.
