We are delighted that you are interested in volunteering with us. We have many different tasks in the library, Makerspace, and New-to-You stores. We ask you to print out and complete an application form (see below) and submit it to the place you wish to volunteer. Prior to final acceptance, all applicants must provide an original Criminal Records Check.

SPL Makershop Volunteers
The SPL Makershop is the perfect volunteer opportunity for those who love crafting and supporting the library. With the SPL Makershop, volunteers will make items that will be sold in the makerspace to raise fundraising dollars for the library & makerspace. All materials and supplies provided. Interested? Fundraising (New-to-You stores, Book Sales, etc.) |
Book SalesVolunteers are need for our book sales. Some of the duties include: sorting, display, day-of support, and clean-up. To volunteer at a book sale, please contact the branch librarian. Proceeds from this site are divided equally with Community Care Chemung. The Thrift ShopLocated in the former Ennismore Municipal Building in the Ennismore Recreation Complex where good quality used clothing is sold. Youth who have completed grade 8 can accumulate volunteer hours by helping our children's summer program coordinator run the TD Summer Reading Club. The program runs from July to the end of August. Apply to volunteer: Youth Volunteer Application Form |
