Book Sales 2024 |

There will be two book sales this year.
Lakefield Library Book Sale - Centennial Room Date: Saturday, May 18 Time: 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Ennismore Library Book Sale - Optimist Hall Date: Saturday, May 25 Time: 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
All sales are by donation, and proceeds support the Selwyn Public Library. |
Book Sale Shelf |
| Remember each library location has a Book Sale shelf available all year. Selection is constantly changing, and purchases are by donation. Simply bring your book sale item(s) to the circulation desk and hand in the donation. You get a new book and are supporting children's programs and enhanced services in the library. |
Book Donations |
| The library will accept gifts of books, other materials or money for the purchase of specific items, with the understanding that they will be added to the collection only if appropriate, needed and contribute to a balanced collection.
The same criteria of selection and withdrawing that are applied to purchased materials are also applied to gift donations. Gifts of materials will be accepted only on the understanding that the library retains the unconditional ownership of the gift. Donated materials not added to the collection may be discarded or sold at the discretion of the supervising Branch Librarian. StorageStorage capabilities vary at each library. We ask that you contact the specific library if you plan to donate a significant amount (more than one small box) as we only accept larger donations at certain times of the year. What We Accept
